  1. Hip-Hop will survive but most of today’s artist won’t. Can you honestly say, Gucci, Wocka, Odd Future, etc. Too many to name still be around? Look at the pass artist that did this thing the right way; still making money and name still rings bells.

    • i agree. Only artist that know how to market themselves last. those past rappers are artist like jayz, kanye, snoop dogg, ect.

      • I don’t think marketing plays a part. It’s all about the material you’re putting out. HOV remains a top because he refuses to do any project just for the pay; it has to have a timeless/soulful feel. Please don’t get me wrong the artist like Gucci & Wocka will remain a force but as their audience matures they to will descend. Gucci can’t be 50yrs rappin’ “Wasted”, Wocka can’t be 50 rappin’ “Hard in the paint”. HOV 40 something and can rap damn near every song he’s put out since day one. That’s the difference; new age rappers are living in the moment and not thinking about the future…

  3. Can you come from money and be taken seriously?………..nice question here. It’s hard to take someone from money seriously cause they are already set at a high standard. But i think Diggy can change that if he keeps it up. I see he has something

    • Anyone has a chance! It’s really up to the individual. Now grant it, talent’s a must like Ron said. I don’t see why the Hip Hop community wouldn’t embrace him…
